Commissioning of two PV plants in Extremadura, Spain, with SmartPV solutions

Near 50 MWp of our SmartPV solution were integrated into the electric network during the last months

Despite the difficult scenario we are going through, our team is making efforts to ensure normal operation without overlooking that health and security come first. Over this period, one of our projects has been the 24 MWp San Jorge PV facility and 24 Mwp Burguillos Solar Park, both in Extremadura (Spain).

These solar parks consists of a total of 6 Power Inverter Stations, each one, composed of GPTech SmartPV inverter based on the WD3 technology, MV transformer and protection cabinet.

GPTech together with the support of Irradia's team were responsible for the commissioning of the PV inverters, checking the correct installation and operation of the power system. Each Power Inverter Station has 2 or 3 power modules, which are capable of producing more than 1 MW of energy per module.

The whole team has far exceeded expectations, meeting deadlines and working times despite having to withstand very harsh weather conditions.

In addition, all the safety, health and hygiene measures imposed during this time of health crisis have always been respected.
