Only eleven companies have been selected to be part of this alliance, among which is GPTech due to its high participation in CDTI (the Spanish Center for the Industrial Technology Development) projects.

This new tool will play a key role in the definition of a national strategy able to define public programs and policies according to the Spanish priorities and needs in the science and innovation, while identifying the future segments for basic research and the potential market niches for technological development. Additionally, it will favour the coordination and participation in international initiatives, especially at the European level.
