GPTech has designed an AC/DC/AC static converter of 105 kW for wind turbines of variable speed. Beginning with this design, we have developed four prototypes that are in different testing phases, as temperature test or voltage dips. One of these prototypes has been already installed in a turbine so that its correct operation can be tested.

Our power converter, in addition, meets the technical requirements for the operation of permanent magnets generators, as well as other demands as specific protections or a sensorless system to control the generator' speed.
