GPTech consolidates its position in US with the inauguration of 'Sol Orchard' PV Plant

GPTech has consolidated its position in the US market after the inauguration of 'Sol Orchard' PV Plant, placed at El Centro (Imperial Valley, California). T-Solar Group, subsidiary of Isolux Infrastructure, has been the company in charge of developing this project.

For this facility of 25 MWp, GPTech has provided 13 APIS UL outdoor, equipped with two PV630WD inverters and a pad mounted transformer of 1500 kVa; and one APIS UL outdoor composed by two PV500WD inverters and one pad mounted transformer of 630 kVa. These equipment achieve a fast and easy grid integration of PV facilities due to a flexible and compact design adapted to the necessities of the client and to the local normative of each market. Additionally, they offer remote control of active and reactive power, ramp rate control, automatic power regulation according to frequency variations and three modes of operation for Low Voltage Ride Through.

With this project, GPTech reinforces its position in the US market, one of its target markets for 2014, where it has several project in pipeline. In addition, the company has ended the year with numerous projects in Chile, South Africa, Rumania and United Kingdom, and it foresees an increase in its pipeline for the next year.
